Judging from a very narrow perspective, aren't we?
The RM is one of the oldest factions still alive in Disco. For a very long time we were something like Disco's PvP benchmark (much to our dismay, might I add). People would even breach their character's role play to drop by around New Berlin for a match against RM pilots. This faction was never really capital ship heavy nor even PvP oriented, we just had a good number of Disco's veterans due to the faction being old and since everyone in it really "dressed" their characters while playing them, the military discipline "used" to portray the characters helped with coordination, hence making us successful in combat.
With time (and luckly for us) the faction's stance and overall results helped surround us and populate Rheinland with hostile factions also very capable in all aspects. Like the RHA and W to name a couple of the early ones (for me at least). These factions toned to match the RM both in terms of RP and PvP. All Rheinland official factions have been fighter oriented ever since I joined this community. All Rheinland official factions have put a lot of thought and effort into both in-game and forum role playing.
However, it's difficult to be the hottest thing forever. Nowadays, the factions that directly and meaningfully oppose us are at least en par with us in all aspects and they are numerous, RHA, HT, VF, LWB, AU, etc. A faction as old as the RM needs the new blood to keep on going. As older members grow tired of the game, or leave due to RL issues, it's up for the newer guys to pick it up, maintain the faction and make it grow.
Which brings me to your claims. You speak of teamwork, but you are willingly ignoring and dissing a faction, or better yet, a knowledge base that has been around for a long time and has a deep understanding of Disco's proceedings and history to propose something that we already do, just because you feel you'd be more successful at a minor aspect of all that is the NPC faction's role. That's about as individualistic as it can be. If you were indeed interested in teamwork you'd use the superior knowledge and capacity you claim to possess to everyone's benefit. You'd join the faction, teach and learn from us. Instead you prefer to work alone.
As many have pointed out before, PvP prowess isn't the thing in Disco. Sure, the game revolves around it and it's nice to be good at it. But when you put that before other aspects like role play, fair play, meaning and the camaradery that goes beyond whatever character role a player is portraying at a given time, you are merely pointing out that you haven't at all grasped what Disco is all about.
