Nomads...

I remember, toward the end of the SP campaign, that one of the characters said that nomad ships were moving openly through house space, implying that they were about to deliver the final stroke. After that, and 17 years to digest it, I figure that most of the populace has a fair idea about nomads, though there are probably a lot of misconceptions floating around, and most are probably convinced they are no longer a serious threat, since they all disappeared suddenly.
