I can put a [LN] before my name, a -p after my name, equip a pirate ID, and be a legal pirate that liberty officials will leave alone?
That whole thing makes no sense to me, as they're doing what the military is supposed to do in the first place with extra rights to demand credits from people not involved in trade.
Are you BAF or are you pirates? this I'm law but I'm not thing really stinks to high heaven, if you ask me. Perhaps I'll try this theory in Liberty space, just to see how far I get. I have 2 open character slots, and I've been meaning to make a pirate anyway.
(waiting to see the first "you can't do that" when the concept has already been approved, and a concept can not have balance if it is confined to only one house out of 4.)
You're argument is flawed. See below:
Quote:I can put a [LN] before my name, a -p after my name, equip a pirate ID, and be a legal pirate that liberty officials will leave alone?
A: You would have to get the LN's permission.
B: The privateers pirate in Kusari space, and the lawful forces there do not leave them alone.
C: They do not pirate in Bretonia, and in fact don't often go to Bretonia.
Are you suggesting the Bretonians should enforce the law in Kusari, a country they are at war with?

They have the right to demand credits from everyone acting against Bretonia.

A: Who's military would you be part of, pirating in Liberty? Again, the privateers don't pirate in Bretonia.
B: They never say they're Law. They say they're Bretonian Law, which differs from your imaginary separation between all pirates, and all Lawfuls. Under bretonian Law, trading in Kusari is illegal, and traitorous.
C: You've as many free character slots as you want. FAM

A: You missed the first "you can't do that". It was last year. Try looking at this. And this.Oh, and this.
B: Kusari very well could privateer in Bretonia, the other houses could do so in any space they're at war with. LN had an embargo, which it did enforce for a while.
