When I started on the server, I was a n00b. Seriously, I worked my way up to a rhino and my brother, who showed me the game, loaned me a few million to buy a transport. Usually I spent my time mining in Colorado or floating about in New York. I wasn't very wise to the rules. I argued in OoC, said OoC things, but I got the gist of the RP idea when I made my IMG character. It was only back in August, and those rules mentioned were normal to me. I had no clue they hadn't always pre-existed. I've become a decent RPer, and a skilled fighter in bombers.

I tried talking to them, they didn't care to listen, just got me sanctioned. Yeah, I know I engaged with my battleship, in that I was wrong, but sanctioning someone because their internet crashes or something of the like, when they ARE telling the truth, to me seems unfair.
Yes, one thing that everyone must remember... everyone was a noob at one point here. When I first joined I had no idea what RP was, I talked in OOC and even accidentally broke the rules on occasion. Back then people wern't ready to get me banned right away, they calmly and politely explained what I was supposed to do and I got it.
Also my internet connection was messed up, but in my organized fights, I knew my enemies and they knew me. They were informed that my inet was screwy and when I randomly was gone they understood. Once I even left like 4 or 5 times in one fight. However, I have yet to be banned, warned or anything of the like.
When there are problems many times the best way to solve them by fixing your own problems first. Yes, everyone has problems.
Just some things to think about.
