The current state of RP, or lack thereof

This is not a flame post, its my opinions and my reasons as to why I made my shiplist the way it is.

Well when I said Kusari and Bretonia ships are off-limits I had meant to also make the Liberty ones as well, but forgot to.. Rheinland ships are, because the Sigma-13 debris field of half-destroyed Rheinland capships, as well as Zoner's good relations with Junkers. Other house ships require permission and usually a few RP posts or a thread about how they obtained the ship, OR starting the ship's life (check Mayday in Tau-31 thread for example with my Kusari Destroyer, also in Ghosts of the Past).

Order ships are allowed due to good relations with them, as well as a common enemy.

Outcast and Corsair ships are allowed because they both have home systems connected to Theta, and our good relations with both (But some tension is rising between the Zoners and Corsairs, so its possible it will have escalated enough by the next version release, that they won't be allowed anymore.

Bounty Hunter ships are obviously allowed due to Zoners almost-alliance with them.

And again, as MANY people have said. AW are not completely Zoners, nor is Bs| completely Order. We will use mainly Zoner ships of course, but not ONLY zoner ships.

Also, as people have said, a player faction cannot be bound completely to the NPC faction. (Korrd said this in regards to areas the NPC faction is in when Wolf complained about Wraiths in Omega-5.)

Therefor, players can have weapons not sold by their NPC alignment. (Wraiths use some Corsair weaponry, they have to to be able to even fight other ships, let alone military MkII fighters and weapons.)

The Zoners are not completely bound as a House is. Zoners have more freedom with their total neutrality. They can manage to get many different ships, and equipment. Houses must use their own ships they construct. Pirates and Junkers will not sell them ships, as they are lawfuls.

AW are mercenaries, who deal with everyone. They buy ships from whoever they want, with the exclusion of houses due to the fact they do not sell their ships to others unlike the pirates.
