It has not been so long since he rejoined Colonials, but alas, to him, it seemed to have been an eternity of a mindless struggle, a war to which he saw no end, and that was tiring him.
But he knew he had to press on, otherwise the consequences would be indeed dire.
He had no doubt that it pressed the hearts and minds of his enemies as well, and if they were strong enough to keep going, how could he not do the same?
And so, although tired of it all, and with the ever-present possibility of death looming above him, he went on about his work.

He had been in so many battles, it has hardened him to a degree in which he no longer felt the emotions a normal human does.
He was but a shell of a man he had been before. He was now but a machine of revenge, only reserving his prized emotions for his friends and allies, not allowing anger to interfere with his decisions in battle.
When he went into battle, he was calm, serene, at peace. It gave him comfort over his usually empty life.
What was there to do anyways, he wouldn't mine that's for sure. This was both his only source of income, and also a purpose in life, to defend what he thought was right.
To stand up for those who couldn't defend themselves.
