Nooblet - you and i have actually seen eye to eye on several of these "faction-indie" threads, so, i do realise where you come from a lot of the time. But, in this case i really think that whats being made here is a storm in a teacup.
If you read the post i made earlier you will see exactly whats being talked about here, nothing more. I respect the right of independent players to choose their own paths (as my main character has always been an indie) and i have always said that.
There is however a BUT. The "but" here is, do i think an independent player has the right to do what they like even if in doing so they cause more harm then good? to the detriment of the community as a whole? then definitely not - i have always believed and still do that there is a middle path in all of these things. You will note also that when i discussed "mentoring" i made mention my belief that both factions and independent players have a role to play here.

This is NOT a faction Vs Indie debate - and as i said it is not a case of "authority". This is a case of everyone involved calmly, gently, and in a mature manner, looking at issues and dealing with them in an inclusive manner.

I understand what you are saying. I typed my little purple thought, to test whether anything would happen as a result of this thread/incident. Dab's reply implied something would/did.

I too understand the concept of the rights of the many of that of the few, however, people as a whole are generally stupid. I do not want to see the rights of the few get trampled as a result of a popularity contest.

Time will tell, I shall allow it to pass for now.
