Well, if some 'canon RP' is worked out with the admins, that's great. But leaving a non-admin (or council) with the authority to decide 'canon RP' on the spot, and enforce it, isn't so great. That's the only thing I'm worried (though 'worried' is a bit too strong a term) about.

You know that Virus can do this at will, right? And that the same goes for the leaders of pretty much any of the house militaries too, right? Uh... or the Brotherhood Elders? The RHA, LWB, and XA? The 101st (though there IS the OC council of Dons)? I really don't see what your problem is with it. The same applies to any faction. They can muck about with canon RP within the bounds of reason.
