I actually do agree with you, you don't see those kind of factions anymore, for multiple possible reasons, 1) it makes it harder to get a faction post approved, 2) and pretty much everyone is now going for parenting factions possibly for easier approval. But yes those kinds of factions have gotten smaller lately.
