i remember the days when there were all those factions....seemed like everyday there was 2-3 new factions being proposed. some were for the same host faction with varying differences....so much so it was hard to keep up with. most of these little factions would vanish shortly after they were created, only to be replaced by another, equally confusing faction. this went on for a long time until the admins put a freeze on the faction creation process.
toward the end of that era came a call for factions based off the "canon", the faction creation threads started to fill up with suggestions of sticking to the canon NPC faction or pointing them to unused NPC factions needing a PC faction.
now this thread appears to be starting the inevitable flip flop toward that which once was.
it would seem we are caught in the breeze of this never content society we have created and it seems the wind is changing as we begin to sway the other way. an endless cycle we are doomed to repeat over and over as we ride the "grass is always greener" carousel that is the Discovery community.
