~~~Background Story~~~
In the early 7th Centuary, many blue-collar families in Liberty found themselves out of work and in financial trouble. Some ended up joining the Xenos, some were cast into poverty, and some pooled their resources and bought some ships to leave their troubles behind. Most of this later group ran into trouble eventually and were lost. A few prospered however. The families flying the Ragnarok and the Ark of Redemption met up, and formed a coaliton. Over the years, they integrated and became one giant nomadic family. They would drift from system to system, selling their diverse services to whomever were willing to tolerate them. They often quickly overstayed their welcome, and were quite often the target of pirate attacks. These hostilities had them develop an ability to defend themselves, and today they have the ability to sell their skills ranging from consumer goods repair to protected shipping, and even military operations.


~~~ Description ~~~
The Legion of Armageddon are a collection of families that travel together. They offer a variety of services as well as military power. They are an honorable outfit, fulfilling their contract completely before taking on a new one. Individuals in the Legion do not take on contracts, as that is the sole responsibility of the leadership. When not under contract, they can be found together, drifting through space and doing what they can to make an extra credit or two. It is rare for any of their ships larger than a bomber to be seen near a base, but it is not unheard of for the smaller of the family ships to visit a station and entertain the locals. Some people feel that the Legion civilians are an unsavory presence near a station, leading youth into corruption, and therefore prevent them from coming close, however, the Legion posesses many skilled technicians on board their ships, and often the repair and improvements they can offer are welcomed on the station despite what people think about them.


~~~ Role ~~~
The Legion are a group of families available for hire on limited to extended purposes. They RP their role as space Gypsies, with a varity of different things they do. Their combat wings are centered around a gunboat. As such, you will never see more than a single gunboat without there being quite a few bombers and fighters in operation as well. The family ships fly together in a cluster, although after transitioning into a system the bigger family ships travel a long distance off, far outside of the common patrol paths. In the appropiate forum, we will have a set place where contracts we will take are posted, as well as what contract we are under, and the terms for completion. We will hold confidentiality at inflated prices, as confedentiality hurts our reputation and ability to take contracts with the target at a later date. Our members will not be under more than one contract at a time.

~~~ Diplomacy ~~~
The Legion of Armageddon are mostly neutral to everyone, although they do experence random hostility from other factions, as any wandering band would. They work for whoever pays them. They do not take persecution personally, and maintain neutrality to others in all but the most hostile cases, However, they will not accept contracts against the Xenos by any faction.

The Legion use civilian equipment, and no Fighter or Gunboat armor above a class that would be available to Freelancers based on the info card for the armor.
Faction equipment may be used if we make a contract with the owning player faction for supplies of that paticular type.


~~~ Zone of Interest ~~~
The Legion of Armageddon operates in all known space. They stay in the vicinity of the city ship “Ragnarok”, although such ship is stationed a few hundred K from any place of activity by others except during system transitions, and might not ever be seen by someone outside the Legion.
