So here is the plan for you, the way I see it:

First, start working on the document describing the specs of the infested character role(s), by example, by prototypes and so forth. From overall concept down to the tiny details and resolving issues related to game mechanics and limitations around them. When you get some rough idea more or less layered down see if anyone else interested (I'm sure there are interested players as already evidenced by this topic and some others before) would wish to contribute to it. If it proves right in time and doesn't fall down like a card house then something more specific might come out of it, but not till that moment, not till there is material. Some of the material will become available at 4.85 or may be a bit earlier regarding the Nomads and everything related to them, which can also become the basis of certain aspects of the infested characters roleplay. The idea of more generalized infested characters is a fine one, but also a bleeding edge on it's own right, difficult to work out and even more to maintain it.

There is plenty of untapped roleplay opportunity, but it MUST be approached with the greatest care and attention, not a tiny bit less than that. It's like an extremely fragile substance, wrong step and it may shatter all too quick and all too easy, literally almost no place a mistake.
