Fly to newark base and deliberately fail interspace missions. Bang! and the tag is gone...
By far and away the fatsest method, that doesn't screw your repsheet for anything else. Do it now.

Can I just point out that there are -no- interspace NPC's to shoot... so yeh... not a lot of choice regarding this. Just fail missions.
