Looking back, I probably didn't hate my father. I just didn't understand his reasons.
I still remember the time when we wouldn't say a word to each other.

All he ever wanted was what he perceived as the best. Not necessarily for me or him, but for the family.
I learned to understand his reasons later on, but after all those years I still don't agree with them.

Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I had complied with his wishes. Not that it matters anymore.
But well, I guess it all turned out well in the end.
