Clarification Request

[Xeno-Acid]

Hello Everybody. Guess who? That's right it's me... Acid. I'm here today because I've become a bit confused and honestly want to understand what is and what is not proper in handling Traders and what not in my travels. I do not seek a trial by forum nor intend to create unrest, only to improve my role play experience and perhaps clarify for others who might be as confused as I. I welcome any and all comments, but the point is to get a solid understanding of how a Xeno SHOULD interact with traders.

I was in Texas earlier today, and happened upon a big fat trader. I asked for a 500K donation and was promptly denied. Fine. So I asked the LPI agent that was watching the whole thing for a donation. Yes, I was being cheeky. But hey, never hurts to ask. I was told privately that Xenos cannot demand cash. I replied that I was asking for a donation, not a tax, not a piracy demand. I never even threatened anyone. I'm a bit of an odd duck that way. I just don't want to mindlessly attack when there is good RP to be had. That's worth more to me than any amount of money. That is why I am here!

Reading my Xeno ID I see: 'Xeno Terrorist ID'

"Pilot carrying this ID has joined the Xenos. Xeno ID owners can attack lawful and most unlawful ships at will and participate in military operations on the unlawful side. Xeno ID holders are not allowed to ally with lawful forces or demand cargo from traders; also, they are not allowed to use capital ships, super heavy fighters, transports or liners..."

So I ask you. Can Xenos ask for a "donation" from folks? Can we make them dump their cargo and destroy it? Can we turn them back from liberty? Or are we expected to hurtle mindless comments of hate along with our fire at anyone and everyone?

My goal is to further develop my character into something I can be proud of. I'm not looking for loopholes. Truth be told, money is never an issue... "I only 'play' a poor man on TV", if you get my drift.

I'd appreciate honest thoughts on this, as I'll be considering your responses for the development of Acid.
