ok nver mind, i'll just have to make most of my money from slavaging weapons from wrecks and nomads. on a related issue, does a gunboat use regular armor upgrades or do you need cap armor? and are order cerberus turrets available to all?

I would stay away from the Order cerberus turrets. I have a Kusari Explorer myself named Wayfarer and have been using the basic turrets. Maybe you can also use the solaris cannons as well as I just switched to them. Anyways, about the armor upgrades, you can use the universal fighter armor upgrades, or go with the capital armor upgrades. The VIII fighter armor upgrade is the 2,5 while the (IV?) also has the 2,5 but it just takes up more space.
