Missiles everywhere!

but whats really different to a ship with guns. - put a good gunner into it - and you ll have to whirl around, too. - missiles require a different skill to hit with them - and they require a different skill to avoid them. - but in contrast to guns, there are very effective ways to counter them.

what i mean is not that missiles are bad. - but i don t like how its considered "bad form" to use missiles. - but then... i never understood why ppl got mad about gunboats with missiles, too. - you give up at least as much as you gain.

saying that all missiles is bad is like saying that all kraken 2 is bad or all debs+ sunslayer is bad. - its not "bad" its different.

i wrote in the other thread that different loadouts require different tactics - when you face a bomber with 4 debs and a SN + a good gunner, you shouldn t joust this bomber.... if you do.... should you blame the bomberpilot?

so if you face a missle fighter and joust it..... do you blame the missle fighter? -

as a missle fighter, i could also complain that an all gun fighter can hit me in the back all the time, while i have no chance to hit it when i am sticking on its six. - but THAT would be considered "a good skill" instead of "bad form", i guess....

the point is - - and its a funny point....

ppl find something to be annoyed at all the time...

- capships
- missle gunboats
- fighter like bombers
- cerberus battlecruisers
- missle fighters

the list will not end - untill we either have exactly the same loadout like the NPCs - or untill those that complain have it their way, no matter the cost.. .
