Day 27, Lab 3, The Nonsense Factory, Cassini system, 7:43pm


Buster watched as the engineers and slaves finished the final touches on the Mark V. He looked down to
realize he had crushed his coffee cup into dust from the anticipation. wiping sweat from his brow he tossed the
remains of the cup into a nearby recepticle. "Sir, the modifications are complete" Ranaud was standing behind
him, a fearful look on his face. Buster knew why. If the engine failed, he would do to Ranauds face what he had
done to that cup. "alright Ranaud, lets give it another go" Buster sat down at the table and watched as Ranaud
pressed the Ignition button again. The engine whirred to life, much faster than before, It glowed brightly and
the engine noise was stable and constant. The Anchors were almost ripping up from the ground from how much
force the core was pushing. He had done it. The engine core was working beautifully. "alright Ranaud, lets test the
core itself. hook it up and see how much power it is putting out." Ranaud moved to hook up the meter to the
power core and began shouting out the Readings. "8 million u, sir. With a recharge rate of 260,000 u per
second". It was perfect. He had successfully replicated the Outcast' Design.



They had to move quickly, with the engine core finally finished they had to build the engine cowlings to fit it in and get it mounted, Which meant more slaves. alot more.
Hopefully Craig would have the shipments he requested along with the mounting brackets and hardware.
He quickly went back to his quarters and sat at his desk, rustling through the mess of papers for the blueprints he was
looking for. Yes, It was almost over. He could see it now, the look on Lord Moka's face when he reported in that
the Core was complete and ready for phase 2. He licked his lips and took another swig from the bottle of
Mezcal. This was going to be his greatest accomplishment and a definite milestone in his career. Buster sat
behind his desk and smiled.
