Just returned from an eventful trip into New York. Given that I seem to be running solo these days, I've been basing myself in the Rogue destroyer just off the Westpoint tradelanes.
Two days ago I set out for a routine scouting run through the system. Both John Talon and David Hale were in the system, so as I was approaching West Point, I left the lanes. I had no wish to run across these two while I was on my own in only a Scimitar. There was a Rogue pilot at the same location, though he seemed to be allied to a new group I've not seen before. MAF or MAB or something similar. At that exact moment both Hale and Talon appeared and immediately engaged. I was surprised at the ferocity of their attack, though I should have known what was coming, given their obvious fear of the truths we carry. Suffice to say my ship was soon damaged beyond repair and I had to eject. Thankfully I was picked up by a passing Rogue pilot and returned to the Rogue destroyer, before they could attempt to destroy my pod, which I have no doubt they would have done.
Yesterday, whilst awaiting transfer back to Mactan, Hale directed Galen Anderson to my position. I have had conversations with this young pilot before. His records at West Point indicate him to be a thoughtful and intelligent man, and I have attempted to get him to look into the circumstances of what brought me to the Legion, in the hope of possibly gaining a new recruit ourselves. He has been disinclined to make any attempt to investigate my story in the past, but he seems to have become intrigued by my claims, and says he will look into things in his spare time. Doubtless all truths relating to my betrayal by the Liberty Navy will have been erased, but if anyone can uncover anything, I believe it may be him. I hope his investigations bear fruit.
I will be available should you need further clarifications.
Wainwright out.

All the old knives, that have rusted in my back, I shall drive deep into yours.
