Vast exaggeration and misinforming other players ain't a good thing. Order and Corsairs are "buddies" as you would say, given the alliance. Outcasts and Nomads aren't buddies at all, there is no alliance and whatever strange neutrality there is it's quite fragile. Last time I checked faction diplomacy of all the related faction it was either neutral or barely "friendly". Though I wouldn't presume on the friendship with beings you are hardly able to understand let alone figure out what they're up to. I thought you'd be well aware there are relations between various groups which neither hostile nor allied, but something different. So if you do the math, do a favor and try to be mathematically accurate as well.

Yuri is, as very very usual, rather right.

Just because the Order and Corsairs have a "tenuous alliance" (read the infocards and rumours, they're not butt-buddies) doesn't mean that the Order is now going to be allied with the Hogosha crime synidcate or enemies with the Mollies or enemies with the Blood Dragons or Hessians.


Heck, the Hessians are the strongest force against the Wild in Sirius.
I'd say that the Order and they probably share a nice relationship, despite the "alliance" between the Corsairs and Order. Same with the Blood Dragons - Ryuku was an Order/BD collaboration to keep an eye on Tekagi and the Wild up there.

And, on that note, remember that the Mollies sandwich Chester between their territory and bases.
If that lair becomes "active" (or when, as Yuri hints.... We're all doomed) Mollies are going to be the primary force holding the Nomads back into that system. Unless Bowex gets it for some silly reason that doesn't make sense. Then that would be their problem, until they were all blown up. And then the Mollies would still have the Nomad problem to deal with.



Just because Outcasts are attacking Gamma doesn't mean that the Order is obligated to help the Corsairs. They really shouldn't. The Order is mostly neutral to everyone except Liberty and the Bounty Hunters.


If I didn't know better (or do I?) I'd say that there would probably be a lot of Order amongst the Outcasts, and possibly vice-versa. Being "close" to Nomads is a good research opportunity, if even you have to stay undercovers.

In addition, some Outcasts might, with their contact with Nomads, be compelled to join the Order.



I'm just randomly hypothesising here.
But in short: Order + Outcasts =/= Enemies.
Maybe they're a little bit tenuous. But that's it.

But nothing is more OoRP than an Order raid on Alpha.
And helping Corsairs in Gamma seems a bit like shoring bridges by tearing others down - something the Order does NOT want to do.
