Looks like that crappy pile of meat that is called my family can`t dance on my would-be grave just yet.
I`ve just come back from the Omega 55 and 58 recon job. First time ever I don`t live up to my name; I`ve come back in one piece. My love for agile craft has increaded once more.

the report:

Entered Omega 5 through Omega 3 JH. A few lousy shots on the other end tried to stop me and failed. Popped into the Omega 55 JH. Popped out the other end to find some real peace and quiet.

I headed for the first big thing I saw: an unknown planet called Unknown Planet. (no life on it) Who comes up with these names anyway?

After that I headed dead south to stumble upon the Omega 58 JH.

I ignored it because I wasn`t done with my recon just yet. Headed west and entered an astroid field.

I found two Wild bases there called Wilderness 1 and 2. Those wilds really have no sense of naming.

They didn`t like me there and went hercules on my Sea Serpent`s engine. Not exactly crack shots those wilds are. But the CD`s were annoying.
My ears are still ringing from the missle alert waring which wouldn`t shut up.

I remember just now, writing this report, that I completely forgot about using countermeasures.

After a chase through the astroid field I jumped to Omega 58. Upon arrival I saw this:

Once again I headed for the planet first. Made a nice snap shot of planet Konigsbrunn, a dead planet

After that I headed west to the big portal like thingie. Turns out the Wild are building a nomad jumpgate there.

That is something to worry about. I tried docking to no avail so I just gunned it and flew through the thing.
No effect. It`s still lifeless. It looked like it missed a piece though...

I headed south again because I saw a station in the distance. Turned out this was Hirschfield base, another Wild base.

Completing one more round I couldn`t find anything else so I headed back to the JH to Omega 55. The trip back was quiet and boring. Only some sairs jumped me in Omega 3:

Back on London I went to get the Serpent checked out. Some burns and holes but nothing too bad. Here`s the bill from the mechanic:

To summarize: both very hostile systems. Building a base there is immpossible unless a fleet barges in there to cover the operation. And even then the station wouldn`t be safe. 3 Wild BoO, a LOT of weapon platforms and a Nomad gate under construction are things to worry about. End of the report. Any questions, just ask.
