After many patrols in the vicinity of Naha and Ogishawa, today I had the privelige of escorting some of our trading vessels.
This morning, I had the pleasure of escorting the Kamchatka on a supply run of military vehicles to the Myoko in Shikoku. The run was fairly uneventful, the only activity being a disagreement between the KNF and the Dragons in New Tokyo, which we steered well clear of. Unfortunately, my onboard camera was offline at this point, so no images were captured.
Later, I was able to escort the Abashiri on a Deuterium run from Gran Canaria, and this time, my camera was working properly, so several images were recorded. Meeting up with the trade vessel, we set off from Ogashawa. Barely had we left, than a contact appeared on scanners. As we closed with it, it resolved itself into an Outcast Gunboat! Steeling myself for a fight, I moved to prevent any attempt on the Abashiri. Fortunately for us, it drifted past, seemingly unaware of our presence. The remainder of the journey was uneventful, despite the large Corsair presence in Omicron Gamma.
Arriving at Lanzarote, the cargo was successfuly unloaded. Here, I attempted to contact a Zoner I had heard of about a possible ammendment to my Hessian repuation (we had discussed the agreement on the way out), however, I was informed that he had moved to Gran Canaria, which was, luckily, our next port of call.
Setting out, with the hold full, and my reputation suitably adjusted, We retraced our steps back to Kusari. On the way, I made a slight detour to check out a wreck of a Bounty Hunter ship I had noticed on the way in. Unfortunately, it did not yield anything valuable, and, instead cut down on our journey time, for which, I must apologise to the captain of the Abashiri.
Arriving at Honshu, the Deuterium was safetly offloaded, before we headed home to Ogashawa.
