Veronica Dark: Born on planet los angeles, her parents were both killed in a fatal car accident on South 20 in New Sacramento when she was only 3. she was then shipped to the Los Banos Orphanage for Wayward Children where she spent the majority of her life until she was old enough to fly. She was a violent child, it was a possible bi-product of her parents brutal death. At the age of 14 she burned down the west wing of Los Banos Orphanage in an attempt to steal her maidens ship. She was charged as a minor and served 6 months in a juvenile detention hall. On her 18th birthday, she was gifted a small shuttle to learn to fly in by an unknown person. she left Los banos Orphanage that day, and never returned.

Noone had seen any trace of Veronica Dark for 3 years after that. then suddenly she popped up in Colorado. She had resorted to mercenary work and took a hit on a member of the Liberty Navy, John Macnamyr. she succeed in killing Mr. Macnamyr and was then deemed a criminal by Liberty law enforcement. 3 months passed and no one had seen a trace of Veronica. Then one day, the Navy was given an anonymous tip of her location. She was bunking down on Lieden Base in Galileo. The Liberty Navy waited for Veronica to leave the confines of the base and then captured her vessel and arrested her for pre-meditated murder of a Libertonian officer. She spent four years on sugarland before she was offered pardon as long as she cooperated in finding one of the lead operatives for the Hellfire Legion. She gladly assisted her captors and after 6 months, was granted a full pardon of all charges.

With a now clean slate, Veronica took out a loan and bought herself a new ship, a Havoc MK II Bomber she named, Evelyn after her mother. she found a quick friendship with Ruby, an underboss of the Liberty Rogues who offered her accomodations on Alcatraz in California. Veronica then spent the next month bar hopping and looking for clients for her newly reopened mercenary business. However she found the market was being monopolized by The Reaver Mercenary Corp. Veronica met up with Kalliste Silver, head of the Reavers and begged her for a job. 2 weeks later, Veronica got word that she had been accepted for the job.
