Wait, Order MK2 Battleship Guns, in addition to Corsair, Outcast, Bretonian and other Order guns are sold at several Zoner Bases too... That means BHG and House Factions along with any other pirate faction can use them, right?
Personally im all for faction specific supernovas, as long as they're varied in stats.

higher refire, but lower damage output
lower refire, but higher damage output
higher projectile speed, lower refire /or damage
lower projectile speed, higher refire /or damage
As for comments such as "How could other factions develop a weapon based on the Order's Supernova, if inRP the Order wouldnt allow others to use it?" Well.... Simple answer, progression of technology. Contrary to certain beliefs RP needs to be dynamic. Factions that currently dont have bombers or capital ships, in certain situations will find that they need a ship of equal power and begin developing them, and its the same for weapons.

Overall, I think the good RP people are looking for variety as opposed to sheer power.
Some different things like Chain Guns getting a projectile speed boost;
Or a Mini-razor/inferno with more the energy consumption for more the speed/damage/range depending on faction;
Some different effects - like a faction SN looking like a pulsed beam weapon (single 'zap' not a lag-inducing stream) - or having a delayed fire;
Torps with better speed and tracking, but no blast radius to make them less effective against fighters.
Just a few thoughts. More variety = more tactics and strategies = more fun!
