Once again it seems I need to say something.

You see, world of politics is a shady place with so much gray spots that white and black are never seen.

Take note that even due all circumstances, we are all human. We all have ancestry from Sol. More even, Molly and Bretonians even came on same sleeper ship. They even worked in unision for long time (over 700 years) before actually separating due to political reasons than any other.

While corsairs are from other house, other sleeper ship. Only thing in common is Sol. Now to add that brets did opress us, but they didnt slaughter us like corsairs did.

Let me give hypotesis:

If molly and corsairs are engaged in combat, and nomad/harvester/wilde pops out. We and they would gang on alien first, then, maybe continue our engagement. Similar to that, if BAF is for instance chasing few NHL we would simply move away since there is nothing to gain in that fight.

What most people fail to see is that, our killing of bretonians isnt because we hate them or something, its because there is no other way(or we see none) to force them to leave Dublin to us. But, as LeMaitre said, Kusarians and Corsairs are bigger threat than bretonians, because in the end, If Kusari overtake Bretonia, we will be wiped out like dry leaves without any support for our cause or any sympathy from ruling nation.

Even so much quoted OC/Sair hatered isnt in fact that strong. You can still see them on same base, in same bar at same time. They are enemies, but they are still all too human. Maybe good deal of people do not have real war expirience to see that "blood feuds" and "generation wars" are something extremely rare as its not part of human behaviour. More to add is that even greatest of enemies will sometimes offer mercy. Its way how wars are won. There was no war in history where whole nation was slaughtered. In war, you are trying to weaken enemy so much that they arent threat anymore, and that their only escape is surrender.

Please, its a game, it depends on politics and psyhology and as such is no simple matter. Its easy to play rank and file soldier, they point you at direction and say shoot, but to be leader and dabble in politics you need to learn and appy much more so your own actions would look logical and explainable.
