Personal Log: Captain Hadrian Rail Codename: Virus

Yesterday was the thirty-first of October, at least on Earth it was. That day used to be known as Hallows' Eve or, more commonly, Halloween. People used to dress up in costumes and go ask people for candy. Oh, what did they say....? Ah yes, "trick or treat". This meant the if they weren't given candy, they would attempt to trick the non-giver. I wonder if they still do this on any of the planets... If they do, it would most likely be one of Liberty's.

Today, is what is known as All Saints Day in the Catholic Church of the 20th Century. A tradition where everyone goes to mass, as they call it, and pray to these "saints" asking them to help them become a better person.

Tomorrow, in a lot of Latin American countries from the same time period, is the Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos in Spanish. This is were people go to celebrate the life of one who died. They eat what the deceased liked to eat... No, feasted on it. They would make Sugar Skulls and other symbols of the dead. These would not be scary, more like laughing at death, without being disrespectful to the dead themselves.

Over the past few days, I've done almost nothing. I want to talk to a few of my commanding officers. I wonder where Krist- I mean, Commander Samus is. She.... Intrigues me... I just want to see why she became leader of this entire wing of the Rheinland Armed Forces....I mean... Its not like.......... Never mind...
