Fellow warriors,
Today was a good day for the Hellfire Legion. I began my combat patrol searching for those traitorous Navyfolk, when i came upon a Guardian, with Navy ID/IFF, after a moment of confirming his identity as a Navyman, a =LSF= agent came out of nowhere and attacked without any warning!
Thankfully, i had my shields and weapons charged, for just an occasion. The fight between myself and this =LSF= agent -very- quickly escalated into a full on furball, with almost 12 ships all focusing their fire on my poor, little Sabre.
Well, it seems that these lawful dogs had forgotten that i was an enemy from Hell, and i brought as many down with me as i could. The fight lasted for a good 25 minutes, where i scored 6 kills against the ever growing swarm of enemies. At one point, there were 10 fighters, 2 Gunboats, and a Cruiser, all focusing on me! But my superior training and skills quickly put the first 3 down. Then, a rather odd LPI officer called off the gunboats and cruiser, possibly due to the high risk of friendly fire, and the constantly exploding cruise disruptors messing with missile guidance systems.
Then, my supplies running low, barely staying alive as more and more enemies sought my head, amongst the flying missiles and spent ordanance littering the battlefield, i managed to bag 3 -more- kills, before my ammunition ran dry, and i was out of Cruise Disruptors and Mines. At which point, my saving grace consisting of a hastily assembled fleet, with none other than Adrian Morton, the Lusty.Duck, and Antares at the lead.
My ship was eventually shot down, in what i blame to be a cooling rig malfunction, due to the extreme stress provided by extended combat (//hardware lag. meh). But the Legion stood victorious, amongst a pile of wreckage of those pathetic Liberty folks.
On a side note, my guncam malfunctioned on two of the kills, and thus they were not recorded. I do not recall their names, as it was a rather hectic fight.
Safe flying, and happy hunting, brothers and sisters.
