Changes to the BPA

Well, everyone, I must first say I am sad to see Elgato go. His insight into the BPA has crafted it into what it is today, and I don't believe it will be the same without him. I'll try my best to uphold his image of the BPA, and add my own twists to it.

First thing I'd like to do as the Commissioner of the BPA is get opinions on the following:

Passenger Licensing
Nomad Lisencing

Prices - No one EVER pays for these things anymore. They should not be expensive, and they should actually be a penalty for carrying these things unlicensed. What do ya'll think about these policies?

With the exception of attempting to get a BPA tag, weapons of lethal nature should not be used by the BPA. At all times, a slight readjustment of faction alignment is preferable to missions(//double bribe on Sheffield station). We are a peace-keeping police force, and we intend to respond to actions in a peaceful manner. If and when approached by enemy forces, we shall employ superior craftsmanship, impeccable dodging, rapier wit, and scathing comments regarding parents, canines, and poor aim to dent the egos of our opponents and to dampen their spirits.

It is recognized, however, that certain individuals do not possess the dignity or respect for human life as we do. As a result, Constables and Officers alike can apply to become AFOs, or Authorized Firearms Officers, and mount weapons, missiles, and nuclear mines.

Regardless of status, however, all Constables should have some ability to disrupt tradelanes in order to apprehend fleeing criminals. As a result, Non-AFO Constables and Junior Constables may mount ONE Adv. Debilitator(Available on Planet Leeds) to assist in the disruption of tradelanes.

In order to become an AFO, the Constable or Officer must prove themselves to be excellent individuals in the Bretonian community as well as the BPA as a whole. AFOs are expected to act with maturity and restraint when using their weapons. Stray fire and play-shooting are discouraged, as these weapons are to be taken seriously. They are the tools of death and destruction for those who seek it from Queen and Country.
