Seems a little too much like a trader faction. The idea of synth weed and artifacts being moved around on them is cool, but allowed by who? It's still smuggling right?

It should have more of an emphasis on liners and passenger transport, rather than just general powertrading.

Maybe that is the PanGalactic in me talking.
