Most likely you'll get a 'lolwut' as an answer to that or it'll take so much time for you to type it your target will, (a) get out of range, (b) kill you while you type or shoot you so you'll have to evade and start over, © say, "booring, let's fight!", (d) have been logged out for some 30 seconds already.

Try and escalate RP depending on how the other party deals with what you 'throw' at them (I'd do an example RP fluxogram but I'm too lazy to). If you don't know your counterpart to be an RPer that will satisfy your conversational needs, start simple:

For example, when I play military:
"Halt, <insertnamehere>!"
(Very fast and pretty straightforward. If the guy stops or answers back somehow, it's a good sign. Then you can proceed...),
"You have been caught in the act of piracy which is illegal in this territory and will be charged accordingly. Surrender your vessel and prepare to be boarded."
(...or...)
"He's not stopping. Pilots, you have weapon's free. Take the target down."
(Everything else is a bonus, but depends on mutual willingness to proceed).

Do your part and, if everything fails, find other playing partners.
