Rant: Lawfuls vs Unlawfuls

Point is, if you want to operate in core liberty, be ready to hit and run... fast .... before navy caps roll in.
In independent worlds you should not have to worry about navy caps and mostly not even fighters.

Run where? Tell me that. I've been on both sides of the fence. The lawfuls and unlawfuls of Liberty. I currently have a char on each side that I use regularly. The unlawfuls, even if they 'hit and run,' run back to their base to find several, let me repeat that, several indy and factionized capships camping it to kill undockers or pirates coming to it. They can't do anything. Thats one reason my lawful only goes after pirates being an active threat to the Navy or traders. No reason to shove **** down their throat when they are here to play a game.

Going out to the Border Worlds or Independent worlds is not a choice for the Rogues. All Rogue NPCs are in the core Liberty systems. Further, your claim that all traders must travel through houses to get any profit is completely and utterly ridiculous. 90% of the trade on Disco is done by traveling through Sigmas, Taus, and Omegas. Liberty has little trade traffic, and what trade there is comes from Bretonia. Those 2 independent worlds are covered by the Lane Hackers, and will soon have both BAF and LN defending it.

I've found more and more LH players in Bretonia, because we don't spend every waking moment of our day shoving capships down their throat. When we DO fight them, its with fighters and bombers. In Liberty, its Gunboats and Assault Frigates. Thats it. Only the official LN faction uses fighters and bombers, and even then, its a 1:1 ratio of caps to fighters most of the time.

The entire situation is disgusting, and why I spend most of my time in other houses. That is easy for me, since I've done it for a long while and neither of my Liberty characters is important to me or anyone else. However, for others this is not a choice Kambei. Their main characters are in Liberty. They like Liberty. They just don't like the crap going on by the majority of the players in Liberty. And its starting to spread to Rheinland, and I'm hearing echos of the same stuff in the Rheinland Unlawful chat. Telling someone to leave Liberty because some other players are ruining the entire place for the rest of the server is lazy thinking. Rather than telling someone to deal with it, finding a solution is a better use of our time. So if your not going to contribute towards that, you shouldn't be posting here.

I honestly think admins need to do something about the base-camping cap problem. I know the Xenos got, and probably still get hit hard at Ouray. When DW was here, it was about 6 times a day that XA undocked to find 4 Gunships sitting literally 2k or less from the dock points and firing before the XA could move.
