Blade and Cannon

"Behind you!"

Blade spun around and brought up his M590 Assault Rifle. But was not slow enough to shoot the Recombinant mutant from leaping up onto him, and pinning his arm and gun to the floor as he fell.

A version of the smaller type of Recombinant, it had such speed that it could effectively dodge gunfire.

Its hand came down at his neck, its claws extended. Just as a bullet flew through its head. He pushed the mutant off his chest as a drop of its blood came out the mouth to fall on his face. Cannon grabbed him and helped pull him up, firing down the hallway to their left as she did. There were another three Recombinant Minors, and a Recombinant Major, a smarter, bigger version of the Minor, coming down the hall after them.

The took off running down the hallway, and Blade tossed a G50 Incendiary Phosphorus Grenade down the left-hand hallway. If the mutants didn't stop, they would be burned and melted by the grenade. Either way, they were no longer his problem.

They took another turn towards what JC had identified as the security area of one of the Manhatten SiN|Tech drug distribution centers. The plan was the take over the security systems, get the civilians and innocents out of the building, and then blow it sky high. The secondary objective was to download all the information they had on the security computers in the process, as Jessica went to set the bombs around the building.

They continued to shoot down any of the security personnel, and tamed mutants as they made their way.
