I would say that because of how common the nomads and wilde are in populated space that people would indeed know about why they are there and also of what happened to Sol after the sleeper ships arrived in Sirius. The houses would seek this info out if it was there to be had, especially in the case of Rheinland who suffered such a deep infestation.

For the Hessians, they have to deal with Wilde in their home system as well in NB daily. I would say they are well versed in their lore.

This is, of course, just my opinion and open to debate.
