GMG as a Corporation or Sovereign House

The East India Trading company is a great analogy. This kind of view of GMG should have been obvious from the start. GMG is an independant organization. It doesn't answer to and follow Kusari's word of law or any of the four house's word of law it does respect it's Kusari brethren and vice-versa. We aren't talking a full house here, simply an independant sovereign organization, this is not a very difficult concept to understand. It doesn't take much brain power to do a little reading in-game, it does however take a lot of boring flying around though. So I have pulled together every scrap of info I can get involving GMG sovereignty and relations to Kusari, how the war started and was won including GMG's experience in warfare and tactics, why Samura isn't expected to be competition and how the aftermath of the war still keeps Rheinland from being competition even 200yrs after the war.
I was informed by a moderator that there is a limit of SS's per post, understandable. I'll organize them by category in packages no bigger than 10 and post 6 seperate posts with them. It should also be good read, especially for the faction they refer to, as there will be ton of info that is great for RP.

I couldn't find the info of Naha being taken over, I'll take this moment to say that I have seen it before.
It is true that Rheinland had captured Naha at one point in time in "The Eighty" but GMG didn't lose half it's
forces from that single battle, GMG lost half it's forces during the whole war, Rheinland lost ALL it's forces.

Some immediate aftermath here is the SS of GMG losing half through entire war not one battle

ALG has contract to clean (also notice the Liberty bit heheh, news to me)

Junkers actually work with ALG but have reasons for being slow

Despite being slow it's temporary


And yes, once the scrap is gone ALG will leave, Junkers should to as they reason for being there is over and a new miner
will replace that area of space (speculation on my part but very reasonable, although ALG and Junker resistance would make
for continued RP in the area)

Samura's decline and Kishiro's rise, Samura isn't ready to be a competitor for GMG
GMG switched partners and it has made an impact on the corporations in Kusari.

Samura hasn't received control of Hokkaido from Kusari officials yet, GMG ain't going to let it happen

Samura isn't done developing their stuff in Hokkaido yet

Samura is declining and loses construction market to Kishiro

Samura unsuccessfull in defending agains BD

Samura employees looking for work with Kishiro

Samura losing KNF contract to build fleet

why? because Samura's models are obsolete.

Also KNF has come to prefer Kishiro innovation over the unchanging Samura

So KNF started working with Kishiro on Nansei

So that KNF can get something special from Kishiro


More on Kishiro rising above Samura, not only with new work with KNF but also with increased business with GMG
