So, I bought myself a new MP3 Player. A "NWZE436FB 4GB VIDEO MP3 WALKMAN - BLK", it works well, my only regret so far is that it doesn't have Bluetooth. Problem is, I've tried several times to put videos on it. First, it didn't support AVI's, so I converted them to WMV's. Now, when I copy them straight over, it tells me they're an unsupported format, and when I use Windows Media Player to synch, it says it's converting the format then errors at 99%. Buggrit.

From the Sony web page:
Video: Formats Supported

Supports: AVC-BL (Advanced Video Codec - Baseline)
Supports: MPEG-4
Supports: Windows Media Video 9

Website:
http://www.sony.com.au/walkman/catalog/pro...ategoryId=30333

Anyway, I need a free program that can convert my video files to Mpeg 4, WMV9 without giving me the above issues, or AVC whatsitcalled, prefferably without pasting watermarks and whatnot across them, or another solution if anybody has one. And no, "Get iTunes" or some other junk along the same lines is not an acceptable alternative solution. Seriously, I'll be tempted to break your nose.

Ahem. Thanks for the help.

Edit - Oh, right, I also be needing Mpeg 4 codecs for WMP 11. Again, free and not Apple software.

For the Core.
