Scepticising the corsairs

As much as they demand things like food rations, since their living on a naturally terraformed planet it should not be hard for them to establish a water extraction plant, farms (In the forms of biospeheres if need be) and an oxygen production facility. Never to mind the open availability of Alien Organisms in the vicinity of Yaren. Their pretty much spread everywhere except kusari which means their free to harvest all kinds of resources from all over sirius.

Crete, while being naturally terraformed, is not suited to large scale agriculture. Water and Oxygen are the only basic resources that are exported from the planet, and Corsairs lack the means to make biodomes (hence the friction with FP 9).

The key problem is that Corsairs simply have nothing to export beyond artifacts, which the "lawful" houses frown on due to their unknown nature. With no exports comes no trade partners, which results in them being forced to resort to other means of income, namely piracy.

Alien Organisms are harvested from the clouds around Kurile...Delta yields merely water, and their exportation is more the domain of Samura and Zoners.

Finally, while they may be spread everywhere, in most of those places, they are at war, which does not leave much time for harvesting resources...
