While I understand the food shortage on Crete is the reason for the Ban of passengers to that destination, and the mounting tension in Gamma, I do not understand the urgency with which you opened fire upon these traders. Ten Seconds is hardly enough time to reach any sort of intelligent exchange with anyone. Your screen shots showed a nomad presence at the time of the exchange. Clearly, all parties involved were aware of this. This only added to the tension of the situation. These individuals were Clearly at risk and you clearly had the advantage. They were no where NEAR Crete at the time you decided to open fire.

Given the current internal bloodshed of the Corsairs, I would think that you would need more resources and less waste. You had a clear opportunity to turn this unfortunate situation into a positive situation. You chose a course of action which resulted in waste and loss for all parties. My point, Sir... is that you could have escorted them out of the system once the Nomad threat had been eliminated. Destroying them was not the ONLY option at your disposal. You had many options and a clear advantage. Regardless of the curious nature of their tag and IFF, which SHALL be investigated, you acted rashly, and then you come approach us with with an almost infantile attitude? That only adds to the perception of a hot headed bully. Bad form, Sir.

We have supplied food and supplies to Crete for a long time, and I would remind you that you make use of our facilities on a regular basis. Further, I would suggest that you speak to your Elder Council before you take it upon yourself to issue ANY statement on behalf of your people. I am quite sure that you are not the sole embodiment of the peoples of Crete. Diplomacy is clearly NOT your forte, Sir.
