I really hate the Outcast vs. Corsair divide which almost all unlawfuls seem to follow. Mollies are allied with the Outcasts because they aren't allied with the Corsairs. Gaians are allied with the Corsairs because they're not allied with the Outcasts. Why must every unlawful faction (barring a few Rheinlandish unlawfuls) be allied one or the other?
Mollies should be friendly/allied with the Rogues, since they work together closely on their technologies and aren't all that far away from each other. Neutral to most other unlawfuls, hostile to Corsairs. Gaians shouldn't be allied to the Corsairs or Hogosha or AFA, because it makes no sense whatsoever. None of those factions have anything to do with the supposed goals of the Gaians, none of them are even opposed to terraforming. The Gaians are a small group of fanatically idealistic academics with some very specific goals, why would they have connections with a larger criminal alliance?
And the Blood Dragons shouldn't be allied to the Outcasts just because they're enemies of the Corsairs, they should be neutral at best. BD being friendly with the GC is even pushing it, since the GC goals for overturning the Kusari government directly contradict the BD goals for overturning the Kusari government, plus they're cardi-slaves.
