I think that Kusari, if they took interest in it, would keep Planetform running and fund it greatly, if they thought it was worth it. By modern terms, it makes more sense for Kusari to keep Bretonia's economy intact, and rebuild it.
It's not entirely a question of whether or not Planetform would still be around, though - it's a matter of if Kusari would be willing to hire them. "Yeah, we just kicked your asses all over the Taus, but, uh... we need your help." I'm no expert on Kusari, but they seem rather big on pride.
