Admin Notice: Faction Warned: HAF

Sometime in the next 7 days the Admin team will be moving your respective characters out of Prison, which means you will be able to play on the server once more.

However, i have been asked to write you this warning: For while i am an Admin here you may or may not know i also have a Corsair character that is a member of the Corsair council of Elders, and as such i take quite seriously the things that take place in the area of Discovery where i play.

Over the last few days much of the HAF website has been translated and we have paid attention to the past methods of operation employed by the HAF - whose stated goal is to "invade" servers and dominate them.
Let me warn you - that will not happen here, Discovery does not do "Clan wars", nor does it tolerate attempts by outside clans to try to do so. Many imported Clans have come here in the past and have tried to do this, and they have failed. Our "Clan" is the Discovery server as a whole, and its players play in different "teams" be it Outcast, Corsair, whatever: Our players loyalties here lay with the server, and its current set up not with their faction, you will either fit into this or you will not last here. It does not matter what you have done in the past, or how you operated on other servers, when you come here you are a new player, you do things the Discovery way, or you take the highway.


We will not tolerate deliberate attempts at sanction from anyone, your player HAF Angels' attempts at sanctioning almost set a new record in Discovery for Pettiness and ridiculousness and was part of the reason for your whole faction being stuck in Bastille. This will not happen again..
Admins do not like having to become involved in these kind of situations, players should be mature enough to deal with them without resorting to petty sanctions - IF we see any more of this from the HAF you can consider your time on this server over.
Lastly, the OPG, regardless of your feelings, are an official faction here on this Server, the HAF are not - All the Corsair official factions and long standing players have long established Role Play here that is to be respected and i would recommend that the HAF learns this and works within that framework and not against it. Do this, and you will find that there can be a place for you - if you do not, the kind of mess you have just had to deal with will more than likely happen again.


I would advise you consider this warning carefully, the Admin team will be watching the HAF closely for signs of improvement and that you are willing to work with the community here, your recent agreement of cease-fire on the forums was a step in the right direction. Lets see more of that.
