Alright folks, we don't need to carry on discussing the Stewcool/bismarck duality.

As to the presence of indys in a faction's space... Good.

Indy, faction... Whatever, I honestly don't care so long as they roleplay their part in sirius properly. It -is- the duty of player factions to demonstrate what it means to roleplay that faction, and frankly the [RM] do it exceedingly well... Sure a few people within the indy community (perhaps without the guidance people receive when joining a faction) will mess up. But thats not something to judge indies by on the whole. This is something I tried very hard to bear in mid when I was writing the liberty cap registration...

As for reasons the RNC name is cropping up now, the buzz about being involed in a war with (of all places) liberty, the most over populated and huge house in sirius must be kinda exciting... Hell, I know I'm excited.

As for why the big ships are appealing... Well, they're appealing for a lot of people really. Rhienland caps are big and beefy, and people like the power they have... fair enough, so long as they are capable of the roleplay needed to make that huge ship non-intrusive or annoying, and stick to the rules there is no problem... Believe me, nothing annoys me more than a lolling battleship.
