If the HAF can find a place in the corsairs and do something different and unique (yet in line with) within the corsairs, then I'd have no problem with the idea of another corsair faction. Their existance has to be justified.

I remember to recall that this is actually required for a faction to become official. If I remember correctly it was said by Xoria in one of those faction proposal threads. To actually add value to the server if there is already a faction in place.

OPG did just that. And I still remember the rocky start they had. They were and still are and should be based in Omegas using Cadiz as their launching point.

All the HAF really did wrong was trying to start too big from the get go. Like most of the imported clans. Very few have had a mindset of starting small and from there develop their own niche.

So HAF I think you can have a place here in the server, but please find your own niche. Not just general Corsairs. And definitely the Protectors of Crete will not do since that job is taken already by people who have been here longer.
