At the moment Corsairs are somewhat limited in where they can move artifacts. It's actually more profitable to move them from the Hawaii than it is to move them from Crete, which is absurd. Though there are quite a few runs that lead into Crete, as that planet is quite the consumer of everything from gold to hydrocarbons.

When I was playing my Corsair trader, as I get a kick out of seeing what I can pull off as a fully tagged and ID'd illicit smuggler, I found myself working a circuit from Crete to Liberty, which would thereafter enjoy moving goods from Junker base to Junker base, to the Gaians, back again to the Zoners and so on. To terminate in Kusari for another artifact run back to Liberty.

Interestingly enough, the FA are a good sale point for slaves. Who woulda known. Fun to fly them through Colorado though.

Point of the above being that I'm not going to shed a tear for someone complaining that it's hard to make a buck trading as a Corsair. There's good money making routes, even now. They're limited in number and scope, but every single one of them is an utter blast to fly.

But maybe that's why the Corsairs tend to turn a buck pirating, not as merchants.

Edit: Furthermore, Zelot, he's not a frikin Corsair trader. He's moving cracked software to the Mollies. He's just tryinging to make the fastest buck on the shortest circut.

meaning a Corsair artifact smugglers only choice in trying to ply his trade wont be a 7 min trip vs a 30 min trip for the same route and profit

I hope you're not stating that you think people are justified in utilizing a horrible oorp route in the name of maintaining a higher profit crunch. Because that's appalling.
