Cam, the power of missiles goes up with ship class. Any more than 3 missiles is just whoring.

that's me. And bombers don't mess, unless there are more than 2.
So if you have problems with bombers killing your gunboat, just bite the bullet and get the missile turrets.
The tradeoff is that you won't be able to take on any gunboats.

And don't call it unsportsmanlike- I'm not about to shoot myself in the foot to make it easy for four Catamarans to slaughter me by using anything other than the most effective weps possible.

They're definitely overpowered against fighters, though. Not against gunboats.
