Completed three round trips between Lanzarote station and Planet Honshu. Abashiri came along on the second round, the trip was uneventful. On the third trip back, long range scanners picked up eight HAF blips in Omega-41. I believe they originated from Gamma. Engines at full in Omega-47, I took MikumaMaru to a undisclosed area and waited to trace their vector. My feelings were suggesting, it's the old cat and mouse game. Two ships in the pirate group jumped to Omega-47... I waited keeping my crew quiet and equipment at low EMF. I had the galley whip up hot coco for me and ordered the crew to shift and rest. If we are going to battle stations I want my people alert. After a bit of time the HAF rejoined in Omega-5, not sure if they cruised Omega-47, low sensor resolution.
At this point I figure they would have separated in search pattern if they were serious about hunting us, or they just couldnt think past their salamanca barrels. So taking a small risk we fired up the engines and bore through Omega-47 like no tomorrow. Once we arrived at the jump hole we checked LR scanners, they were still in Omage-5. Ok this is a reference to all transport Captains, at this point you either turn back or push on, why? Those Corsairs may not think past 600m however the Omega-5 JH is 10k out from the Omega-47 JH. Meaning if they are waiting for an ambush, all they do is jump in to Omega-41 once they see your ship drop in system. Luck for us we jumped in and cut through Omega-41 rock like a tree cat eating celery. I figure they were too busy looking at their trinkets and cockpit blings.
