The Corsair issue

So if my faction of choice has ships that are weak, I can opt for non-faction ones for a PvP edge? Of course, I would assume that this would only apply when a ship is bugged rather than simply weak.

There are bugged ships yes, like the Arwing, so you use neutral ship with exactly same stats... and get sanctioned for it.

You can't have everything - where would you put it? So I can ditch my Manta because it's vanilla ie 1 pass missile/nuke/torp free bots for anyone - or the Hammerhead because it is like a underpowered eagle and also - 1 pass missile/nuke/torp free bots for anyone.

With some ships you have a trade-off. Vanilla vulnerability for faster turning - like on Manta, Eagle, Sabre...what's the trade-off on a Titan? It's hard to hi with guns... great so you can get a "died 100 times and never to guns" sign in your signature, but you'll still be just as dead.

Anyway let's see what how life of new corsair player with average skill can pick from:

First most of them get a Titan, enter a few fights all happy about fighters and die extremely fast in each of them. After a while they give up.... and pick Praetorian or GB, most probably a GB cause bombers are not that easy to use. And then they get flamed for using GBs, so what to pick then?


I was one of those that 1 year ago was fighting in Eta on my Sabre and didn't believe Corsairs that said it's not so easy flying a Titan. So I switched, to find out that it$ really is not so easy. Since then I advise anyone to get a Titan and try it themselves in a proper big fight.
