7MHz processor
512 KB (yes, kilobytes) of RAM
No Graphics card
No hard drive
Onboard sound upto 8bit, 28kHz
AmigaOS 1.2
Yep, it was an Amiga 500. I used to play 'Defender of the Crown' on it. No such thing as 'Windows' back then. Ah, those were the days...
This will be a bit hard to beat ...
My first "beast" was something like (was a while ago so i might lie a bit ...):
Intel 386 ~ 16 MHz
Proud 1 Meg of RAM (4x 256kb)
Uberpowerfull and equally famous graphic card - Trident 512 (ISA of course ... no one heard of PCI not to mention AGP those days ...)
20 Mb Western Digital HDD (size was equal to a decent brick)
14' Targa CRT monitor (That has kindly given me a few decent shocks)
and better than anything after - DOS. (quite a few versions)
Ehhh memories ...
Now i'm stuck on rather cheap and underpowered laptop which specifics are a mystery at the moment.
