And so, the AI FireFly, was born.


FireFly is the only AI that is designed for piloting a fighter, rather than a capital ship, unlike most other AI's. It's programming was based on the skills of Ace pilots, making it seem like an actual person when fighting.
It's purpose, to study the nomads in order to find their weakness.

The AI's ship is a Very Heavy Fighter, with systems added to ensure the AI's optimal performance in battle. The ship usually contains captured nomads, which the automated lab does research on. The ship is fitted with an emergency warp drive, so that, if needed, the ship can warp out of battle and back to the base last docked at. This requires massive amounts of power, so it is reserved for when the ship's hull is in critical status.
