Superior Phantom ships/weapons

I'm going to go with equal, most phantoms are the best pilots on the server.. so they can handle being out numbered.

outnumbered isnt not valid point since all get outnumbered in some point in time.

But they do have best pilots on the server and huge amount of experience. With better equip nobody would have any chance against them if numbers are equal.

But that is just me...when this discussion was led on devs forums i had hard time deciding...

This is a great time for me to mention my one idea: a CD that does shield damage, that'd be something!

I like this guy for just this reason. That's a good idea...

All in all, I don't think they should have the best weapons and guns.
Being a phantom is already a big thing. They already have some advantages over the rules.
Now, I'v seen like 100 discussions, pvp whoring versus exceptional RP.
If they do want better equipment then they are just burying themselves.
I really think they should be the first ones to complain about better equip they got in 4.85.
If they don't, then everyone has the right to call them simple pvp whores.
Much more then in 4.84, where they used Catamarans, Taiidans, Sabres, whatever.

Erm, wait, we have an advantage over the rules? Can I see it? I'd love to see it....

Also, in my time being in the Phantoms, we've had two Catamarans, one who had an extensive story that was shown in a special RP request, and one who was kicked out (ZOMG people get kicked out of the Phantoms? I've never heard that!). We've had one Taiidan, which I got rid of to go along with my story, which is also played out in a special RP request. Look at that, it's like we adhere to the rules or something.

Stereotyping us Phantoms is awesome, isn't it? I just flew from New Berlin through Colorado RPing my way up hunting one person, and now I look at this. We aren't the best pilots, we don't have any advantages over the rules, we have to RP, we have to be a good example for new players. What is so different between us and any other factions on the server? We're required to have exceptional RP experience on the server, that's it...

Back on topic, better guns? Well, it depends on your view of the Phantoms. If you think we're a technologically advanced faction, then we do deserve them, but if you think that Fairplay is better than Roleplay, then, forget it. I personally don't care if we have better guns, ships, or whatever. Hell, I just want my Stinger with 2 Nomads 2 Blue Blaze a Tizona and a Firestaker back instead of this Raven's Claw (Or whatever it's called now). But, you know, to be a part of a group dedicated to excellent RP I gave up that mercenary ship and adopted a Raven's Claw last version, and this version I had to get rid of what was one of my favorite loadouts because we now have standard weapons. Look at that, we got those guns and ships so that people would stop bitching about Phantoms, and now people are saying that we asked for them to be better. Go figure. I don't care about how much better the guns, ships, or whatever are. I'm damn proud to Roleplay as a Phantom, and that's what I am in the faction to do.
