I have noticed out of everything that Discovery does not have is Organized Crime RP. There is no "Mob" or "Mafia" that tries to monopolize smuggling, arms dealing, or things of that sort.
With, the pirate factions of liberty it would be relatively easy to establish a RP of such. With most of the pirate factions in league with each other there, besides the Xenos of course. A Syndicate or Mob would have a boss who organizes player smuggling operations and decides who gets a cut and who gets cut. Lieutenants who carry out hits and such. The almost Freelancing pirates are disorganized and that is why a lot of factions namely LPI and LSF have gained such power is because the crime syndicates moved out to the Omegas and Omicrons where they can roam, for the most part unchallenged.

I think that there should be some sort of Mob or Mafia involved in the Houses. This would add quite a few interesting events into the life of Liberty, Rheinland, Bretonia, and Kusari. Of course the person who starts this would have to have large resources and connections to not only gather the right people for the jobs but also be able to make those jobs profitable enough to stay. Plus this would give the police forces more to do than put down and denounce revolutionaries all day.;)

Just a few cents on an idea.

I bet it has been tried before.

Raiken

It is every citizens right to preserve their morals and their beliefs. However, it is every citizens DUTY to bring about equality.
Capitalism is based around taking advantage of the working class to increase profits. People like you and me are only a dollar sign to them. It is our duty to show these Capitalists what the true meaning of a revolution is, it is not just radicals fighting for change. It is the PEOPLE fighting for what is RIGHT, what is TRUE!

Marxism is the true and right ideal that we should all embrace. Communism is the process in which that ideal is accomplished. The people of Sirius just need pure leaders who will to the end remain incorruptible.
Are you one of those leaders?
